Winner of five of his 40 Flat starts in his career, the Bated Breath gelding is yet to hit the frame in five starts at this track. Not beaten far here over C&D at the end of last month but more needed.
Winner of two of his 11 races over C&D but is currently in a below-par run of form, well held in a number of starts at this venue since September. Looks vulnerable to better handicapped sorts.
Solid enough efforts over C&D at this venue since November but is still searching for a breakthrough success in seven starts over the combination. 2L down on May Remain last month, plenty of room for improvement.
Three-time winner for trainer David O'Meara before returning to the track for current connections following a break of 591 days in July last year. Hard to fancy on return from yet another break.
Knocking on the door in a number of starts at this venue since November. Weighted to win for the second at this track following a ¾L defeat behind May Remain over C&D last month. First-time cheekpieces to suit.
Sole win at this venue came over C&D in November off a 5lb lower mark. Fifth of 14 at the end of last month when headed inside final furlong. Big player if getting his own way from the front.
Winner of six of his 31 starts over C&D with the Haatef gelding proceeding to hit the frame on a another six occasions. Better than last run at the end of last months suggests and one for the shortlist in first-time cheekpieces.
Five-race maiden with a run at Down Royal over a similar trip in July when sixth of 12 beaten 3½L on good ground his best effort to date. Not seen since August and possibly best watched on return.
Caught the eye finishing fourth of 14 beaten 1L behind Lapilli over C&D last month. Possibly has more to offer and could go close in this contest.
Mid-season improvement and promise appeared to leveled out. Well held in August and on return to action over 6f at this venue last month when last of the 14 runners.
11-race maiden on the Flat including a dismal effort over 1m on first start at this venue when last seen in November.

PILLAR can make the most of a positive draw to claim victory for the second time over C&D. The Adrian McGuinness-trained seven-year-old is in fine form currently and the run at the end of last month over 6f should see him spot on for this contest. Biggest dangers in the opener could come in the shape of C&D winner, Red Cymbal, the Michael Mulvany-trained Early Call and the solid and consistent, Sabrina Fairchild. Danz Gift could be a lively outsider here.
