Put some ordinary form behind him when winning a modest Exeter event (2m3f, heavy; first-time cheekpieces) last time. Up 5lb for that, and looks potentially vulnerable as a result.
Placed in two small-field good ground chases in 2017. Has since won on testing ground both on the Flat and over hurdles. Not seen since November 2018, but handicapper has dropped him 8lb for this return. Big player if market speaks for him.
Multiple point winner. Placed in two hurdles at Ffos Las (both 2m4f) and a novices' chase at Hereford (2m, heavy). Needs to improve on that to defy this mark on handicap debut, but could do so now returned to further. Interesting.
Showed a good attitude to win at Fakenham (2m, good to soft) last time. Up 4lb, and has won around here over hurdles. Can't be ruled out, but has a bit to prove over this far.
Interesting, despite the small field, and the suggestion is to side with MOABIT, who should be well versed in what to do here after a long break, acts on testing ground and is on a very handy mark. None of the other trip can be discounted, with perhaps Colorado Doc just preferred to The Flying Sofa for minor honours.
