Rated in the high 80's around this time last year (in the care of Stuart Williams); offering some positive signals for John Butler - beaten less than 3L (fourth) in a C&D seller latest; first start for Luke McJannet.

Sprung a 20-1 surprise when winning over C&D last April; now rated 5lb lower in the weights which tells the rather sorry tale since; nothing positive whatsoever to take from his last four starts.

Always handy when winning for the AW champion jockey elect Ben Curtis over C&D (Class 7) a fortnight ago; the bulk of his 4lb rise is offset via the 3lb claim of Sarah Bowen; very strong chance on historic Wolverhampton form.

Made all when winning at odds of 100-1 at Salisbury (1m, good) in August 2019; just 1-37 on the AW, so it'll come as a major surprise if he's the solution.

Placed (beaten 3L) at Chelmsford (1m2f) early in the New Year; sits 8lb lower than when finishing ¾L second to Ubla (C&D) in March 2019; no win since late 2018 (Southwell); can't be dismissed in a weak race.

Ex-Irish trained mare; 0-10 for former handler Patrick Martin; finished last of 15 on debut for Linda Jewell at Chelmsford (1m) yesterday; impossible to fancy.

Forecasts

Windsorlot (2/1), Burguillos (4/1), Letmestopyouthere (4/1), Molten Lava (13/2), Amor Fati (8/1), Medici Moon (10/1), Magwadiri (20/1), Haraz (33/1), Global Goddess (50/1), Ebony Belle (80/1)

Verdict

Letmestopyouthere filled the runners-up berth at Southwell (7f) yesterday. However, the most appealing horse in the line-up is the Tony Carroll-trained WINDSORLOT. He took a Class 7 C&D handicap with relative ease a fortnight ago and that form was given a minor boost at Newcastle on Thursday courtesy of the success of fourth placed Klipperty Klopp. The excellent Sarah Bowen negates the vast majority of a subsequent 4lb rise and with solid historic Wolverhampton form (from higher marks) in the book, he appeals as the type to go on an extended winning run in the weeks and months ahead.
  1. Windsorlot
  2. Burguillos
  3. Letmestopyouthere
