Won at Perth in July over hurdles, but below form on final start in that sphere, and again when switched back to the Flat at Kempton recently. May have needed that, but has a bit to prove.
Better effort this year when 5L third of 10 to Princess Harley over C&D last time. Seems to be coming to the boil, so needs respect in a race lacking depth.
Took advantage of a slipping mark, and gave trainer his first winner when winning by 4¼L over C&D last time. beating Frame Rate. Penalty leaves him on a very fair mark, and he will be hard to beat if in the same mood.
Looked to have a good year in from of her when successful at Yarmouth on return last June, but she went the wrong way subsequently, and showed nothing when tried over hurdles at Kempton last month.
Has largely held her form since getting off the mark at the 16th time of asking in a Gowran Park handicap in August, so perhaps best to ignore a flop in heavy ground when last seen in October.
Forecasts
Arabian King (1/3), Motahassen (3/1), Cape Hideaway (10/1), Highway To Heaven (33/1), Pushmi Pullyu (33/1)
ARABIAN KING did wander a bit when off the mark here last time, but he had a fair bit in hand, and should really be able to defy a penalty if continuing in the same vein. Motahassen is the most obvious threat on recent form here, but Highway To Heaven is easily forgiven a rare poor effort last time, and could be troublesome if bouncing back.
