Point-to-point winner in 2018 but modest form in bumpers and pulled up when highly tried on chasing debut in November. Wind operation since and now tried in a tongue tie but needs to take a major step forward now.

3/1
Keen going type who showed fair level of form over hurdles winning at Perth and Chepstow. Showed some aptitude when 17L third of five on chasing debut behind a smart winner and should improve with that experience under his belt.

Four wins on varying ground over hurdles when trained in France but absent since September 2017 and market should guide as to what is expected on first run for current yard.

11/8
Hurdles winner but much improved since going over fences and career best when fine second in Grade 2 at Cheltenham last month (2m4f). Step down to the minimum, which he hasn't raced over since Rules debut a concern but has the form to go very close.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: R T Dunne| T: T Lacey| OR:  130| D
15/8
Best effort in five runs over fences when pipped in a three-way photo at Newbury in December. Not as good when only third on return to that track when normal hood was left off, which it is again today.

Forecasts

Paint The Dream (11/8), Vado Forte (15/8), Grey Diamond (3/1), Indietir (20/1), Financier (25/1)

Verdict

The drop down to the minimum trip is a bit of a concern but PAINT THE DREAM sets a clear standard on form after chasing home Midnight Shadow in the Dipper Chase and he can deservedly get off the mark over fences. Grey Diamond showed something to build on at Doncaster and with this sharp track likely to suit, looks the principal threat with Vado Forte best of the rest.
  1. Paint The Dream
  2. Grey Diamond
  3. Vado Forte
