First start for new yard, having shown form in a couple of French maidens for Freddie Head; yard do get winners here but this opening mark looks stiff enough, and he may want a bit further too.
Only just failed to get there over C&D two starts back, a run that would give him every chance under improving 7lb claimer here; possibly hit front too soon last time out, so if waiting tactics are delayed, could get his head in front here.
You've got to go back to 2018 to find his last success, which is rather offputting, but equally he is very consistent and has gone close on numerous occasions in the past year. One for placepotters rather than the win, as he'll be there at the end.
Getting on for 18 months since she last won a race and although she will strip fitter for a run at Wolverhampton in December, her first after a short break, she makes only minimal appeal to get back to winning ways here.
Has good early speed but at the moment he's not really getting home, and the way he weakened out of it at Southwell last time, a track he likes, was worrying. Chance if he gets loose from perfect draw to attack here, but risky.
The very epitome of consistency here, won or been placed on over half his starts at the track and remains in good form after close second here last time. Looks sure to run his race, and faster they go, the better his chance late on.

Diamonique (3/1), Something Lucky (7/2), Roundabout Magic (7/2), Green Door (4/1), Warrior's Valley (5/1), Cappananty Con (7/1), Momtathil (14/1), Laith Alareen (16/1)
With Warrior's Valley looking certain to set a scorching gallop here, that's going to suit the ultra-consistent ROUNDABOUT MAGIC, who likes to come with a late rattle to steal the prize. Stall 7 gives Hollie Doyle every chance to circle these and come with a run down the outside to score. Something Lucky is another that barely knows how to run a bad race, and he can take a medal home, with Green Door and the aforementioned Warrior's Valley the likely contenders for the minor money.
