Has caught the eye a couple of times recently, including when finishing off nicely at Wolverhampton last time (a run that caused the stewards to have a look); cheekpieces now tried, clear form chance but may not get this run to suit.
Finished just in front at Dancing Rave at Wolverhampton last time, not much between them again here; almost made all at Kempton last October and in a race that lacks any pace up front, similar tactics from a good draw might see her home.
Holds both Javelin and Dancing Rave on their last outing at Wolverhampton, when she was denied bu just a neck; that run came after a long absence so clear chance of going one better if she doesn't "bounce" here.
Won a claimer at Southwell in November but was below that form there last time out, merely plugging on (over 6f) for fourth; step back up in trip will suit, but may well need a bit more off this mark.
Some time since she last won one and has been well held off similar marks in handicaps this winter; gives 7f a go today but her case is not that obvious, and others make more appeal.
Looking on a dangerous enough mark at present and hasn't been disgraced in any of her last three starts, usually coming with a late run to snare some place money; questionable whether this will be run to suit, but not discounted.
Another that looks on a good mark if you are willing to forgive a few moderate efforts, but worrying how she weakened out of it rather quickly at Chelmsford last time out. Previous third here gives her place chances again, but she is a bit risky.
Does have some C&D form to her name but has left Clive Cox since last being seen, and now starts out life for a new yard. Not impossible that has perked her up a bit, and she holds place chances in an open race.
Forecasts
Shamameya (3/1), Dancing Rave (7/2), Chloellie (9/2), Bedtime Bella (6/1), Alicia Darcy (7/1), Javelin (7/1), Bint Dandy (10/1), Hit The Beat (20/1)
JAVELIN finished behind Shamameya at Wolverhampton last time out and given the latter has scope to do better, many will row in with her, but it's possible she will "bounce" on her second run back after an absence and Javelin, from stall 1 and in a race lacking early pace, might be able to make all and reverse that form. Dancing Rave caught the eye of the stewards in that race as well, and could take a hand if she gets the pace she needs. Hit The Beat is worth a second look at a bigger price.
- Javelin
- Shamameya
- Hit The Beat
