Finally got off the mark in handicaps when victorious at Chelmsfod (7f; standard) earlier this month. 5lb rise seems fair, as he was always in control of that contest. Tough task off top weight but looks capable of going in again.
Five-time C&D winner hasn't been seen since bouncing back to form to finish third in the "Beeswing" over C&D in a higher grade back in July. Has won when fresh before, so has to enter calculations to some degree.
Makes stable debut as he returns to the track for the first time since finishing well-beaten at Newbury (7f; heavy) in October when he had excuses. Market likely to be informative, but his profile suggests he will need this comeback run.
Shed his maiden tag over C&D in September, and ran respectably in defeat here on two separate occasions since then. Consdierably better off at the weights with Northernpowerhouse/Asdaa who he was just behind on handicap debut over C&D last time.
Only been dropped 2lb by the handicapper for finishing a never dangerous 11th of 14 over 1m at this track on seasonal/stable debut. Masses to prove on that evidence, and so he remains best watched.

Forecasts
Asdaa (11/10), Fortamour (15/8), Northernpowerhouse (3/1), Portledge (7/2), That Is The Spirit (6/1), Reaver (33/1), Mountain Rescue (33/1)
After he made a promising handicap debut over C&D recently, Fortamour suggested it is a matter of time before he gets off the mark in handicaps. He is 6lb better off with Asdaa who he was narrowly behind that day. However, NORTHERNPOWERHOUSE beat Asdaa by a length when receiving 3lb from that rival last time out, and off the same terms he should theoretically confirm those placings and take his record on the AW to 2-3. The dark horse in the race is Portledge who shaped encouragingly when third in a typically competitive renewal of the "Beeswing" over C&D back in July. He was won when fresh in the past, but has never won off a mark as high as this before.
