Impressive when making a winning chasing debut at Newcastle (2m½f, soft) - beat the subsequent Musselburgh scorer I'm To Blame by 1½L; has previous Ayr hurdles form figures of 1,2; very tough to beat with a similar performance.

13/2
Enigmatic three-time Hexham winner (2m, good to soft/heavy); was left trailing in the wake of the useful Chapel Stile and Cloudy Glen at Carlisle (2m5f, heavy) five weeks ago; capable, but always a risky proposition.

Point winner (3m, Ampton); has raced prominently before weakening in three starts over hurdles (triple-figure odds); looks to be comfortably out of his depth against these opponents on rules chasing debut.

Progressive over hurdles, winning three on the spin at Hexham (2m-2m4f) between March and May of 2019; didn't jump at all fluently when a keeping on 6¾L fourth to Dali Mail on chasing debut at Newcastle (2m½f, soft); can do better.

Off the mark over fences at the fifth attempt when scoring by an ever-widening 16L at Down Royal (2m4f, soft to heavy) on Boxing Day; placed at Fairyhouse (2m5½f) since; how will she cope with dropping back in trip to 2m?

Dali Mail (13/8), Glinger Flame (15/8), Isle Of Destiny (7/2), Saint Freule (13/2), Farran Dancer (150/1)

Verdict

Glinger Flame will have hopefully taken plenty on board from his chasing debut at Newcastle, but equally he'll be hard-pushed to reverse placings with the penalised DALI MAIL. The selection was an impressive winner of that race on his chasing debut with the form receiving a direct boost at Musselburgh (courtesy of I'm To Blame) earlier this month. A potential stable star for the Borders-based trainer Donald Whillans, he's strongly fancied to make it 2-2 over the larger obstacles. Of the remainder, the Gordon Elliott-trained mare Isle of Destiny could well be inconvenienced by dropping back in trip to 2m.
