Well beaten in bumpers, hurdle races and fell on his chase debut at Gowran Park in October; difficult to see him being good enough.
Best effort so far over fences when second of 9 to Battleoverdoyen in maiden at Galway three starts; below that level of form on his last two appearances and has a bit to prove at present.
Had been showing plenty of promise on his first three starts over fences but fell last time out at Punchestown; if no worse the wear then he should give a good account of himself given a clear round.
144-rated hurdler who won his fair share of races; has some of the best hurdles form on show and if translating that to fences should run well.
Showed a little bit of promise over hurdles before losing his way slightly; not disgraced on chase debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month and fairly quick reappearance is encouraging; one to consider.
Maiden pointer, runner-up on only completed start in maiden point-to-point in March (previously failed to get around in three attempts); no real on show on only appearance under Rules and an unlikely winner.
Won the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle and a Grade One contest at Punchestown last season over hurdles. Finished second on his chase debut at Gowran Park (2m4f) in November; likely to build upon that here and has excellent chance.
Fine example of a mixed bag; fair performances followed by poor efforts; pulled up last time so maybe a going day? Chance may be reflected in his price.
Has been mixing up chasing and hurdling and certainly a better hurdler; has shown bits and pieces of promise over fences but others look a better betting proposition.
134-rated handicap hurdler, the Stowaway gelding has look a little ponderous at some of his obstacles in three starts over fences since October culminating in unseating last time out at Limerick.
Has been placed twice over fences from three runs and while he will need to show a bit of improvement to challenge for honours, he is no forlorn hope.
Showed some fairly useful form over hurdles, where she won a mares' maiden at Fairyhouse last January, and stayed 3m. Didn't nail the jumping department on either chase outings but respected if able to iron out errors.
Forecasts
Minella Indo (2/5), Captain Cj (7/1), First Approach (9/1), Cap York (9/1), Prince Of Scars (20/1), Ifyoucatchmenow (20/1), Harrie (20/1), Salty Boy (25/1), Ministerforsport (25/1), The White Volcano (25/1), Jimmil (100/1), Boston Hill (100/1)
MINELLA INDO has the best hurdles form in the line up and showed he is more than capable over fences when finishing runner up on his debut in November. If able to build on that and given a clear round, he may prove hard to beat. First Approach is another who had plenty of ability over hurdles and it will be interesting how much market support there is for him on his chase debut. Ifyoucatchmenow needs to improve his jumping game but if he is capable of doing so then he is likely to run well.
