Unbeaten in France over hurdles from two outing both on heavy ground; makes debut for new connections and if continuing his upwards profile may prove hard to beat despite giving weight away all round.

Comfortably won his maiden hurdle at Wexford in October before running to a similar standard when second at Gowran Park in November; a little to find on balance of form but certainly going in the right direction.
3

Won a maiden hurdle at the second time of asking at Limerick (2m on heavy ground); likely to progress again and should give a good account of himself.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: J M Moore| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  126
11/1
Has already won three handicaps, the latest being last time out at Leopardstown; certainly has the experience edge over his rivals but suspicion is he needs faster ground the expected conditions.

Untried on anything slower than yielding but there was plenty to like about his victory at Thurles last week where he stayed on well when asked for his effort close home despite never travelling particularly well; market moves would be interesting.

Forecasts

Cayd Boy (7/4), Tronador (11/4), Floueur (4/1), Argumental (9/2), Peaches And Cream (11/1)

Verdict

Plenty will depend on how strong the form is of the two races won by FLOUEUR in France late last year. He certainly did little wrong in those wins and looks to have an excellent chance of landing a hat-trick. Peaches And Cream is a tough young gelding and may be the one to take advantage if the selection fails to shine for new connections. Cayd Boy is a progressive type who deserves to be in this line-up following two decent efforts at Wexford and Gowran Park. Expect him to be in the firing line in the closing stages. Connections of Tronador have Cheltenham ambitions for their young gelding so good market vibes would be a positive.
