Royale Pagaille is a very interesting contender. The French import has been absent 449 days but was second in Listed race at Auteuil when last out. He is a first runner for Venetia Williams in the famous Ricci silks and could have a leading say. Newtide made a very pleasing start over fences at Ffos Las and should come forward, but it's no easy task giving away 6lb to these rivals. VISION DES FLOS was a bit keen at Newbury in Grade 2 won by Champ in November but offered plenty to work with and this smart hurdler should go close for Colin Tizzard and Robbie Power; who boast a 21 per-cent strike-rate together at this venue.
