Well on top at the finish at Haydock last time, overcoming a couple of mistakes along the way, and won't mind any further rain based on that win; likely to have more to offer and looks the one to beat again here.
Looked a useful prospect when winning a bumper and hurdle last year, and thrown in at the deep end in a Grade 1 hurdle at Punchestown on final start of last year; chase debut had too many mistakes for comfort, but can surely improve on that here.
Second to the useful Baddesley Knight at Wincanton back in November but unseated efforts either side of that hardly inspire confidence; might find this ground plenty soft enough for his liking too, and others preferred.
Making up into a useful chaser now, often travels strongly in his races and only went down by a neck over C&D to an improver last time out; up 4lb for that but conditions clearly no problem, and looks a threat to all.

Unless Champagne Platimum jumps better than he did at Cheltenham last time, this may rest between Precious Cargo and VADO FORTE, neither of whom will mind the prevailing conditions and both come into this in good form. The fact the latter is getting 9lb, which could be useful in the likely heavy ground, swings the vote his way.
