Has looked useful so far, especially with his easy win at Bangor last time out (2m, heavy). Carries a penalty for that success, but looks sure to be further improvement in him. Contender.
Multiple Flat winner at up to 1m4f. Overcame greenness and also pulled hard on debut, so can probably mark up his comfortable Sedgefield success on Boxing Day. Scope for more from him. Big player.
40-1 and unable to improve on last season's promising bumper form on his hurdles debut at Newcastle in November. Should be better for that, but will probably have to wait for other days.
33-1 on debut in a Sedgefield bumper, when he shaped nicely enough before weakening out of it. Should begin to improve over hurdles, but probably one to watch on debut.
Scored twice on the Flat over 1m6f, when with Jim Goldie. Will need to show much more than his commensurate ability from that code if he is to make any impact on his stable/hurdles debut.
Was sent off at 66-1 on his recent hurdles debut, but did better than the market inferred he might, finishing fourth. That was over C&D (soft) and augurs well for a potential challenge for some prize money this time.
Improved on his Newcastle hurdles debut when here behind Mamdood over C&D last time. Looks an interesting prospect for handicaps, and may also be capable of joining battle for prize money today.
Minor promise on debut in a bumper at Newcastle in November. Has yet to build on that over hurdles, however, and can only watch in this field.
Couldn't get the better of any of his opponents in bumpers, but stepped up significantly on that on his hurdles debut at Perth in September, when 7L third when falling at the last. If he jumps round, he could be in the shake-up for minor honours.
22-1 and finished last on his debut in an Ayr bumper last spring. Related to hurdles winners, but can only watch on his first attempt in this sphere.
Couldn't land a serious blow in a couple of attempts in bumpers, and pulled up on his hurdling debut at Newcastle last month. Others preferred.
66-1 and couldn't make any impression on her debut here (2m5f, soft) in a mares' novice event last month. Can only watch.

Forecasts
Cheddleton (4/6), Jabbaar (13/8), Overcourt (12/1), Mamdood (12/1), Arnica (20/1), Slainte Mhor (40/1), Artic Mann (40/1), Kilfinan Bay (50/1), Elite Icon (100/1), St Basil (100/1), Picking Peaches (200/1), Raemoir (200/1), Weave Some Magic (200/1)
While there is potential for improvement from the likes of Mamdood, Overcourt and Slainte Mhor, they are likely to be fighting for places because the real race here should be between Cheddleton and JABBAAR. Both look useful recruits to the hurdling ranks, but the latter may be able to find just a little more this time.
