Won a 'Listed' contest on chase debut at Bangor-On-Dee (2m1f; heavy) in early-November, but wasn't as good at Warwick (2m4f; heavy) last time out when having to concede 5lb to Sensulano. Should still have a part to play.

Made the perfect start to life over fences when turning over the odds-on If You Say Run (1/2f) over this trip at Wincanton (2m4f; heavy). Leading contender on the form of that victory, & should make bold bid to maintain unbeaten record over fences.

Outsider of the field given her 105 rating over hurdles. Only one in the line-up without chasing experience to her name. Makes seasonal return, but does have a little bit to prove after falling at Hereford (3m1f; soft) when last seen back in March.

Top trainer spoke glowingly about her as a chase prospect at the start of the season, so the manner of her defeat on chase bow at Uttoxeter (2m4f; heavy) was underwhelming. May improve a bundle from that though, and is worth another chance.

Forecasts

Annie Mc (5/4), Alsa Mix (13/8), With Discretion (7/2), Dahills Hill (66/1)

Verdict

Despite the fact she disappointed on chase debut when beaten 21-length into second, WITH DISCRETION looks worth giving another chance to given the regard her trainer holds her in, and the fact she receives 6lb from her two chief rivals. She can add to Nicky Henderson's 32% strike-rate at this Yorkshire track. Her main danger looks to be Annie Mc, who made the most of the 5lb she received from the talented If You Say run to make a winning chase debut on Boxing Day. She did that in ready fashion and is greatly feared. Alsa Mix should have no problems picking up third-place prize money given she has won and been placed in a pair of 'Listed' events this season.
