A winner four times over hurdles and off the mark at the second attempt when winning a heavy ground contest at Haydock last month. Won't get away with jumping right at this venue though.
Just one win from six outings over fences and has made jumping errors in a pair of placed efforts at Ludlow at the back end of 2019; all wins have come on good or quicker ground and others make more appeal.
A winner of four of his 11 starts over fences but he's been mightily disappointing in his two runs this season, never in the race last time at Taunton when pulled up; handicapper has cut him some slack but hard to fancy at present.
Failed to finish in three starts at the beginning of 2019 but returned with a Market Rasen success in September. Has failed to build on that twice since though and drop back in trip might not be ideal.
Made mistakes on his debut over fences at Wincanton but bolted up over C&D last time out; hard to gauge what that form is worth but a 7lb rise could be on the lenient side.
Hurdle winner in Ireland but tailed off when failing to beat a rival home on debut for this yard here in November; hard to fancy on that evidence.
