Showed a little ability in her first six runs for David Evans but her form has been very poor in 15 outings for this yard. Is significantly wrong at the weights in this contest and another and highly unlikely to get involved.

Is a little hit and miss but won at Bath (1m2f) September and was second at Kempton (1m) in November. Easy to forgive a poor Fibresand debut last time and should make his presence felt dropped into this grade.

Won at Musselburgh (1m1f) in August and has ran fairly in defeat a couple of times since then, including most recently at Southwell (1m) last week. First time blinkers added now dropped into selling company but yard are on the cold list.

Been running soundly enough without challenging on his last three starts, all over 7f at this track. Is 0-9 over 1m+ so has to confirm this trip is within range whilst he isn't particularly well favoured by the weights in this race.

Has been generally disappointing for this yard with one exception, when springing a 33/1 surprise at Newcastle (7f) last March. Poor in two runs after and now returns from 226-days off and dropped into a seller. Others preferred.

Showed some fair form in the second half of 2016 for Clive Cox but after two poor attempts jumping shortly after, he's not been since - a total of 1028 days. Starts out for another new yard and best watched unless market says otherwise.

Very consistent filly who is a solid yardstick but has yet to win. Touched off over C&D two starts ago and again ran well in defeat at Lingfield (1m2f) four days ago. Has an each-way squeak but likely to find a couple too good.

10-race maiden but has shown form good enough to win a race like this if putting his best foot forward. Disappointing the last twice after two second place finishes and usual blinkers replaced with cheekpieces and tongue-tie.

Age: 4|  Weight: 8-11| J: Aled Beech(5)| T: C Fellowes| OR:  62
9/1
Placed on first two starts in 2019, but largely disappointing since, including when the visor (removed today) replaced the usual hood at Southwell (7f) last time. Has a squeak on his best form but difficult to be enthusiastic on recent evidence.

Forecasts

Orange Suit (3/1), Rockesbury (4/1), Pioneering (4/1), Onebaba (5/1), Ballet Red (13/2), Scorched Breath (9/1), Tiercel (33/1), Totally Committed (33/1), Lope De Loop (250/1)

Verdict

A moderate affair with little recent form. Despite not being the most consistent, ORANGE SUIT has shown form good enough to win this in recent months and can be easily forgiven his first encounter with the Fibresand at Southwell recently. Onebaba is another who has the form and ability to win on a going day whilst Pioneering didn't run too badly in defeat at Southwell last week and the first time blinkers may help.

  3. Pioneering
