Unexposed filly who landed maiden contest over 1m here two starts ago before going close on handicap debut (1m) at this track on New Year's Eve. Off the same mark in this and looks leading contender on form.

Daughter of Frankel who is beginning to progress with racing. Stayed on well to take second behind smart winner at Wolverhampton (1m) on latest start. Return to this trip should help and is shortlisted.

Solely raced in novice company on three starts and yet to trouble the leaders, including 5L seventh over 1m here last month. Given a workable handicap mark but a bit to find on ratings with the top two.

Five-race maiden who offered little on handicap debut but stepped up markedly when second of nine in 7f Kempton handicap on latest start. Markedly up in trip but place claims if replicating that.

Far Rockaway (6/4), Island Hideaway (2/1), Glorious Caesar (10/3), Rajguru (6/1), Itsallaboutluck (7/1)

Verdict

A closely contended handicap, preference is for top weight ISLAND HIDEAWAY, who did well to win here two starts ago and is being given a chance by the handicapper after her previous effort. Her tendency to come from the back of the field eliminates any draw bias and she should be swopping late, which suits this C&D. Far Rockaway is progressing with racing and isn't far away from a victory but comes up against a smart rival in this, while Glorious Caesar takes a drop in class and is well-treated for his debut in this company.
