Yet to really make his mark in racing career to date and didn't offer impressions of that changing with 19L sixth in 2m1f Exeter novice hurdle last month. More needed to be competitive in this.
Beaten 63L in bumper on debut here in April 2017 and showed very little on return from mammoth layoff at Hereford (2m, heavy) last month. Massive step up required in this and faces a tough ask.
Useful two-time winner on the flat for Ed Dunlop and made more than satisfactory debut when fourth at Newbury (2m) despite losing a shoe. Form of that is relatively untested but leading claims if going forward from that run.
Still a maiden from five starts under rules and point-to-points and regressive in each start to date, including 46L ninth in 2m4f novice hurdle at Newbury last month. Likely to be an outsider once again and needs a great step up.
Winner of a bumper at Ffos Las three starts ago but stepped up on previous efforts with encouraging third of 10 in 2m maiden hurdle at Ffos Las at the start of December. Slightly hampered by mistakes that day but solid claims if improving on that.
Steadily progressing over time whilst looking a difficult ride. Hung badly on latest start when third in 2m Exeter novice hurdle and needs slightly more to be competitive in this. Each-way claims.
Rarely a threat in each starts to date, tailing off in his first two hurdle starts before pulling up over 2m3f here ten days ago. Very limited appeal on that evidence.
Point-to-point winner on sole start in that company in Ireland but very short of that form in three starts over hurdles, including when 10th in 2m novice hurdle at Hereford last month. May be of interest when handicapping.
Well-beaten on first start in Ffos Las bumper in November but shaped better when modest fifth over 2m at that track on hurdles debut. More needed and could be suited better in time.
Ran a solid race to finish second on hurdles debut two starts ago and arguably ran to the same level when 12L third at Newbury (2m, soft) in mid-December. Gets a weight allowance but could be booked for a place.

Forecasts
Le Cameleon (15/8), Dagueneau (3/1), John Betjeman (4/1), Ambion Hill (4/1), Jac Brown (9/1), Frisco Bay (33/1), Tribesmans Glory (50/1), Jesse's Lady (50/1), Essenaitch (50/1), Lermoos Legend (100/1), Battlefield (200/1)
A race which is lacking depth to it and could be a good opportunity for DAGUENEAU to get off the mark at the second attempt. He caught the eye when a lost shoe hampered his chances at Newbury and the yard's horses tend to come on for their first efforts. Jac Brown did marvellously well to finish where he did given the mistakes he made last time, they will need to be ironed out if he was to land a telling blow in this, while John Betjeman gets a key weight allowance but is being tested against his elders for the first time.
- Dagueneau
- Jac Brown
- John Betjeman
