20/1
French recruit who showed improved form to win on his debut for the yard before being quickly stepped up in grade for a Haydock Listed event. Ran well to finish second to a smart sort (sharp 2m didn't look to suit); more needed here up in class.

5/4
Useful form in Irish bumpers before he came to this yard finishing second in two strong novice hurdles (form working out well from both events). Made the most of a good opportunity to score over C&D last time; progressive sort with more to come.

4/1
Showed some fair form in Ireland but has looked a smart hurdling prospect since arriving at this yard. Made all to win at Exeter (easy opportunity) before producing a smart performance to win a Grade 2; still looks a raw recruit with more to come.

Steady rather than spectacular progress in bumpers and over hurdles getting off the mark on his initial start in this sphere. Found wanting under a penalty last time and will surely find this too tough even with first-time cheekpieces on.

Silver Hallmark59
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Adam Wedge| T: F O'Brien| D
9/1
Winning Irish pointer; produced a promising first effort in a bumper but never really landed a blow. Looked a far more finished prospect when winning on his hurdles debut at Chepstow; stable going well, interesting to see how he fares at this level.

4/1
Disappointed when favourite for a big-field Punchestown bumper on debut (had a physical problem) but has made up for that since. Looked a smart prospect when winning a Newbury bumper/maiden hurdle; up in grade has to show what he's really made of.

Jeremys Flameh35
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Jonathan Moore| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  135| D
6/1
Irish raider whose has shown some useful form in bumpers and over hurdles; improved when placed in a Grade 3 and Listed company of late. Needs to improve again to win at this level but can't be written off given her last two starts.

Forecasts

Fiddlerontheroof (5/4), Son Of Camas (4/1), Hang In There (4/1), Jeremys Flame (6/1), Silver Hallmark (9/1), Calva D'Auge (20/1), Logan Rocks (66/1)

Verdict

Colin Tizzard has won two of the last three runnings of the Tolworth and he has another outstanding candidate in Fiddlerontheroof who boast some strong form with his two seconds coming in races that have worked out exceptionally well. But he faces some useful rivals with HANG IN THERE looking to be one who looks a fine long-term prospect who has won his last two over hurdles and proved himself in Grade 2 company. Son Of Camas is from a yard that has done well in this race before and he should go well stepping up in grade along with Silver Hallmark both of those add plenty of strength in depth to the race.
  1. Hang In There
  2. Fiddlerontheroof
  3. Son Of Camas
