Listed winner at Cheltenham (2m4½f) last season. Has been below her best in two runs so far this campaign. She was third of four in a Listed contest at Clonmel (2m4½f) last time. Tongue-tie is on for the first time. Big player at this level.

Featured at Grade One level last season over hurdles. Was successful over this C&D in a seven runner field on her chase debut last month in an 8L victory. One to think about as she steps up in class.

Broke her maiden over fences in impressive style three starts ago when she prevailed by 53L at Thurles (2m4½f). Has gone close on both of her two runs since, including latest when she was second in a Grade Three race at Cork (2m½f). One to consider.

Has a good record since switching to fences with three wins from her six starts. She was successful in a mares race at Fairyhouse (2m4f) on her latest appearance, scoring by 4L. Can't be discounted.

Her sole success over fences came at Killarney (2m5f) back in May. She featured over hurdles in a handicap contest at Ballinrobe (2m6f) last time out where she was 10th of 13. Others are preferred.

Forecasts

Salsaretta (8/11), Agusta Gold (2/1), Demi Plie (8/1), Kupatana (12/1), Victoria Bay (20/1)

Verdict

KUPATANA has yet to shine so far this season but she has a great chance of returning to winning ways here on her drop down in level. The mare is a Listed winner so she will have to concede weight to her rivals but she should have the class to do so Agusta Gold was second in a Grade Three event last time out and has done very little wrong so far this season so is sure to be a strong challenger, while Salsaretta scored over this C&D on her chase debut and can't be discounted from following that up.
  1. Kupatana
  2. Agusta Gold
  3. Salsaretta
