Showed an eye-catching turn of foot when leaving a deep impression on hurdles debut to win by five-length at Haydock (2m; soft). Record now stands at 2-2, and she has bundles of potential as she takes another step up in grade.

Built upon facile Ffos Las (2m; heavy) maiden hurdle success when winning easily again at that Welsh track on handicap debut two weeks ago. Has solid claims for bang in-form trainer/jockey pairing as she returns to novice company.

Pitched into this grade on hurdles debut at Haydock (2m2f; heavy) recently but got no further than the first when she unseated her rider. Turned out fairly quickly again. Connections are obviously confident she can hold her own at this level.

Produced a respectable effort when fifth on handicap debut in a competitive event at Cheltenham (2m4f; soft). Now drops back in trip as she returns to novice company and should have a say with the yard enjoying a 26% strike-rate at present.

0-6 under rules, and has been handed an unenviable task on hurdles debut. Cannot be taken seriously given how little she has showed in her career to date (OR 50 on the flat).

Maintained her unbeaten record when a somewhat fortunate 12-length winner of a 'Listed' contest that the stable have a very good record in at Aintree (2m1f; good to soft) recently. Receives weight from all of her rivals and is greatly feared.

Verdict

A fantastic renewal of this 'Listed' contest with the hat-trick seeking Deja Vue one of the leading contenders after recording a pair of wide-margin victories the last twice. Paul Nicholls' runners must always be respected at this venue, and Silver Forever was always in for a hard task when conceding 3lb to Floressa last time out, though she still ran well in third. Midnights' Gift is dangerous to dismiss receiving chunks of weight from all of her rivals. However, clear preference is for MARIE'S ROCK though who sprung a minor surprise when bounding clear of her rivals at Haydock. She can cope with the step up in grade and complete the hat-trick in the process.
  1. Marie's Rock
  2. Silver Forever
  3. Deja Vue
