Point/bumper winner who carries a penalty for a front-running maiden hurdle win at Southwell (1m7½f, soft) in early December; sports a newly applied tongue-tie on this occasion.
Talented Ayr bumper winner; has taken a keen hold on both starts over hurdles, but did show improvement when finishing in excess of 5L third to Marie's Rock over C&D (soft) 26 days ago; sets the form standard.
Made all at a steady pace, and won unchallenged in a bumper at Kelso (2m, good) on Morebattle Hurdle day; underwhelming over hurdles to date (0-2) with scope to brush up his jumping technique; others preferred.
Twice placed in point-to-points (including a bumper); steady if unspectacular progress over hurdles, finishing 12L fifth to Normandy Soldier at Hereford (2m3½f, soft) latest; stablemate of Loco Coco.
Won a Bonvilston maiden (2m4f, good) in April; hasn't shown much under rules to date (0-2) and on the basis of those efforts is the stable/owners second string behind Full Of Roque.
Mahler gelding; brother to the 2m hurdle winner Monstrosity; was with Neil McKnight when winning a 3m maiden at Loughanmore (yielding); beaten almost 29L (fifth) on rules/stable debut at Hereford (2m5½f); a cautionary market check is needed.
Closely related to The New One; didn't fulfil the promise of his Cheltenham bumper fourth when a beaten favourite on hurdles debut at Ludlow (2m, soft), finishing fifth of 16 to Garry Clermont; the type to do better.

Forecasts
Ebony Jewel (11/10), First Lord De Cuet (13/8), Frimeur De Lancray (3/1), The Newest One (13/2), Full Of Roque (18/1), Enlighten (25/1), Mcgarry (33/1), Loco Coco (50/1)
An interesting novices' hurdle in which the penalised Southwell maiden winner First Lord De Cuet is fitted with a tongue-tie. Meanwhile, both the Sue Smith-trained Frimeur De Lancray and the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained The Newest One appeal as the type to win races over hurdles in the future. However, Nick Alexander's EBONY JEWEL sets the form standard. He thrashed Milvale (second at Kelso on Sunday) in an Ayr bumper in March, and is steadily learning his trade over hurdles. This is a slightly easier option than the Class 2 C&D contest in which he finished third to Marie's Rock earlier in the month.
- Ebony Jewel
- Frimeur De Lancray
- First Lord De Cuet
