Four-race maiden who has been a long way off a career best effort at Ballinrobe in May in a number of dismal efforts since. Appears to be up against it here.
Has shown bits and pieces of form in maiden hurdles but has struggled when competing in handicaps. Unlikely to be improving and best watched unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Posted a best effort for sometime when finishing third of 13 beaten 4L at this venue over 3m last month. Likely to improve for yard known to ready a winner at this meeting.
Gelding by Mahler out of a Be My Native mare. Mixed bag of results in three point-to-point starts between May and October last year. Pleasing effort on hurdling debut at Tramore earlier this month and one to note in this contest.
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Muroto mare. Fourth of eight beaten 1¾L in an April point-to-point before a wretched hurdling debut on return to action at Tramore earlier this month. Others look more convincing.
Decent point-to-point form over the summer was followed by a solid run on hurdling introducing in a Punchestown maiden last month finishing second of the 12 runners. More to come.
Not seen for 12 months before pulling up after three out in a Cork maiden hurdle earlier this month. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Gelding by Le Fou out of an Oscar mare. Running with great credit in a number of maiden hurdle spins since September. First time cheekpieces on for valuable assistance.
Failed to build on the promise of a run at Roscommon in September when finishing down the field at Thurles last month. By Scorpion so may need more time.
Well beaten in a couple of starts for current connections at Clonmel and Tramore earlier this month. Expected to attract interest given leading yard but appears to have a mountain to climb.
Winner of Tramore bumper over 2m in October but needs to step up on a below par effort on hurdling debut at this same track earlier this month.
Forecasts
Fully Charged (11/8), Fou Diligence (7/4), Drifting Back (6/1), Chief Of Police (10/1), Memory Tree (16/1), Silk Worm (20/1), Equilibrium (20/1), Soi Cowboy (25/1), Cloudybackwest (33/1), Castlegrange (66/1), Part Time Affair (66/1)
FULLY CHARGED can build on his pleasing debut over hurdles finishing second of 12 to Alpine Cobra (Fifth of eight in a Grade 2 contest here yesterday) at Punchestown last month to land the spoils in this contest at the expense of the Willie Mullins-trained Equilibrium who is better than her last effort suggests. The solid and consistent Fou Diligence in first-time cheekpieces can battle for the minor honours with the Liz Doyle-trained Silk Worm and Part Time Affair for trainer Gordon Elliott.
