Off the mark at the fourth time of asking over hurdles when landing a Punchestown maiden over 2m6f on soft ground before backing that effort up to finish second in a Grade 3 contest at Cork earlier this month. Not to be taken lightly.

Promising hurdling success in a Clonmel 2m3½f 13-runner maiden on soft/heavy ground last month before a set-back when third of six in a Cork Grade 3 contest earlier this month. One of four from leading yard.

No match for Envoi Allen when beaten 23L in a Grade 1 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Can go well at a price.

Form: 42-1211

By Doyen out of a Bob Back mare. Dead-heated in a Fairyhouse mares' maiden hurdle last month with Larquebuse. Much more needed in this company.

Easily won on her hurdles debut following up a classy performance in a bumper. Backed that effort up over 3m at Cork when last seen in October. More required in this grade.

Forecasts

Fury Road (1/1), Well Set Up (7/2), Vis Ta Loi (7/1), Foveros (7/1), Quartz Du Rheu (10/1), Alpine Cobra (12/1), Ferocious (14/1), Sailingtobyzantium (16/1), Zola (20/1), Lunch In Adare (50/1)

Grade 2 contest with former winners including Our Vinnie, Penhill and Faugheen. Trainer Willie Mullins has won this contest in four of the last six renewals and his five-year-old gelding VIS TA LOI can add to that tally in the Hurricane Fly colours. The Gordon Elliott-trained Fury Road is the clear and obvious danger following a couple of facile wins at Down Royal and in a Grade 3 contest at Navan last month. Well Set Up for trainer Mark Fahey has done little wrong since finishing second of eight in a Listed contest at this venue in October and can compete for the places with Zola, Alpine Cobra and lively outsider Sailingtobyzantium.
