Won on turf at Chepstow (5f, good) in August and generally run with credit since. His latest start was a rare below par run but a bold show from Get Boosting in the 14.15 race would give the form a bit of a boost. Good chance now handicapping.
Debut run was a modest effort at Newmarket back in October but the filly has remained unbeaten in two starts since. She was a convincing winner on her Tapeta debut at Newcastle last month and has scope to improve further. One to seriously consider.
Been expensive to follow (sent off as a market leader on five occasions but come up just short of the mark each time). Tries cheekpieces and has a 3lb claimer booked, so gets plenty of assistance. Fair claims but the faltering profile a concern.
Tries 1m for the first time but there was a good bit to like about her latest start when she finished sixth in a 6f Class 4 nursery here last month; her dam is an unraced half-sister to winning sprinters and a mile isn't out of the question; chance.
Holds a progressive profile and proved there was no fluke about her Chelmsford win back in August when she followed up at Newmarket shortly after; far from disgraced over 1m last time and might still be more to come; shortlisted again.
Won over an extended 1m1f here last month and gave it a good go when tried over the same C&D from this mark last time. However, the drop in trip has to be a worry and the colt has form to reverse with Lady Red Moon from earlier in the campaign.
Finished just ahead of Ocasio Cortez when sent over to The Curragh for a valuable sales race back in September and debuts on the AW without a run since. Runs for a highly respected and very capable yard but needs to improve now also upped to a mile.
Sold out of Archie Watson's yard for 6,000 gns after four modest efforts but wasn't beaten too far on handicap debut here back in October, so there's hope for more. Prime candidate for cutting out the running but a stiff test to hold on to the line.
Forecasts
Locked N' Loaded (1/1), Queen Gamrah (4/1), Abadie (8/1), Lady Red Moon (8/1), Baadirr (9/1), Lexington Rebel (11/1), Lexington Warfare (16/1), Ocasio Cortez (25/1)
An informative contest which might unfold to suit the consistent LADY RED MOON who has already won a couple of nurseries and certainly created a favourable impression when tried over a mile last time out. A 7lb claimer in the plate helps at the weights and, given that she's nothing to fear from this surface, Marco Botti's filly edges the nomination this time. Baadirr has been well backed each time she's run and has arguably been unlucky not to get off the mark before now; she has the assistance of a 3lb claimer and is entitled to be thereabouts once more. Queen Gamrah is also thriving and cannot be ruled out in an open race like this.
- Lady Red Moon
- Baadirr
- Queen Gamrah
