First-time blinkers did the trick on handicap bow in a 1m2f nursery at Chelmsford last month, landing a gamble in some style. Raised 12lb for that easy win, which clearly makes life harder, but still merits serious consideration.
Runner-up twice in qualifying runs, and ran to a similar level when third of 8 to Sir Arthur Dayne in nursery at Windsor in October. Beaten 4L there, and needs a bit more to defy a mark just 1lb lower.
Has won twice over 1m at Newcastle, showing improved form to land a nursery there by 2L from Genever Dragon. 4lb rise is fair based on that, and he's entitled to respect.
Improved when landing the odds in a 1m novice at Lingfield last time by 5L in first-time blinkers. Prior to that he was second to Island Storm at Newcastle, and not much between the pair on revised terms.
Had looked exposed for Richard Hannon, but immediately improved for new yard when landing a C&D nursery last time. No reason to doubt that form, and could offer value despite being raised in class.
Much improved of late, and has gained back-to-back nursery wins here on her last two starts. Lumbered with a double penalty and raised markedly in class now, so will have her mettle tested now.
Forecasts
Summeronsevenhills (9/4), Locked N' Loaded (4/1), Goddess Of Fire (9/2), Arabian Moon (5/1), Urban Hero (11/2), Island Storm (20/1)
LOCKED N' LOADED sprung a shock when winning over C&D on debut for Tim Fitzgerald, but there appeared no fluke about that success, and he may provide value in his bid to follow up. Urban Hero is an obvious threat on his nursery debut, with Island Storm and Summeronsevenhills also worthy of consideration after recent wins.
