IEP Financial Handicap Hurdle

Multiple hurdles winner at up to 2m2½f, including on heavy. Has not been at his best in the past year, but took a step back in the right direction last time. Not ruled out of the money now dropped 4lb and in grade.

AW bumper winner who is 0-12 over hurdles and 0-20 on turf under both codes. Was runner-up from this mark over C&D (soft) in a selling handicap hurdle last month, and probably has each-way claims again.

C&D winner on good last year. Handled heavy on sole attempt on the Flat. Has run respectably on her last two starts over C&D (soft) and no surprise if she comes into this after another 3lb drop.

Big prices and well beaten in all five starts, both in Ireland and more recently on debut for this trainer, when pulled up at Wincanton. Can only watch at present.

Goes well on soft ground, as evidenced by his comfortable C&D win last time. That was a similarly weak contest, and although he is up 9lb for it, he looks well treated on that form and should again go very close.

His third in a Newton Abbot bumper last year is the best placing he has mustered so far, and well held in all completed starts over hurdles. Others preferred.

Has been making marginal improvements in four hurdles starts so far, but at a minor level. Was still beaten 15½L last time, when just 2lb higher, so hard to see her being good enough to pick up any money again here.

Placed in four of her 11 hurdles so far, but remains a maiden. Equalled her best effort when just over 2L second in a mares' handicap hurdle last time out at Leicester (heavy). Up 1lb for that, but makes the shortlist.
