Well held in lone bumper in March but better signs latest when second albeit beaten 19L in a heavy ground C&D novice last month. Obvious claims now with further improvement expected.

Slight step up in second of two starts at Uttoxeter last month but still only a distant sixth so some way off being one to fancy here.
Last, fell and pulled up in three starts is hardly the ideal mix you're looking for when after the winner here; no realistic chance on what we know so far.

Heavy ground Haydock bumper winner found only very high class Flat horse Proschema too good when second at Wetherby on hurdles debut. That form looks standard setting and he's fancied here with conditions known to be enjoyed.

French Flat winner narrowly got the worst of a prolonged battle at Uttoxeter on UK/hurdle debut last month showing his aptitude for heavy ground along the way. Leading contender based on that form.
Pulled up in lone point and tailed off in two novice hurdle starts here. A long way off the three runners to finish second latest.
Musselburgh bumper winner ran well to finish second on hurdles debut at Sedgefield but first time on heavy here latest he could only finish midfield. Not ruled out but others preferred.

Forecasts

Cheddleton (4/5), Glockenspiel (7/4), Yes No Maybe So (8/1), According To Alex (10/1), Bitasweetsymphony (50/1), King Gypsy (125/1), Cawthorne (125/1)

Verdict

The three runners to finish second latest on their respective hurdling debuts look the ones to concentrate on. The race CHEDDLETON finished second in looked the warmest and having won his only bumper he has the potential to develop into a pretty smart performer. French Flat scorer Glockenspiel got the closest to winning as he only went down by a head at Uttoxeter so he is preferred to 19L C&D second According To Alex.
  1. Cheddleton
  2. Glockenspiel
  3. According To Alex
