Off for 479 days between Worcester second (2m4f) on hurdles debut and Stratford fourth (2m6f) in October. Open to improvement especially as he didn't jump too well latest and market a useful guide on handicap bow.

Ended a long losing run last time out as he hacked up as favourite in a very weak 3m3f handicap at Sedgefield. Less emphasis on stamina today but conditions will help and he merits respect once more.

2m4½f Ayr maiden winner last month held subsequently under a penalty but as a former 3m point-to-point scorer he should appreciate the step up to 3m on handicap debut. Market a help today.

Forecasts

Doc Penfro (9/4), Victory Echo (5/2), Same Circus (11/4), Bryden Boy (9/2), Justatenner (9/1)

Verdict

After winning again at Ayr last time the ever improving JUSTATENNER is taken to land a third win of 2019 despite being bumped up another 4lb. His hold up style should be ideally suited in these testing conditions. Everything seems in place for the mare Same Circus to also go well and she rates the biggest danger although unexposed Doc Penfro could easily prove the fly in the ointment.
