Bumper winner a maiden over hurdles but threatened a few times now on sound surfaces. Seemed to handle soft latest but heavy would be an unknown.
Unplaced maiden of five steps into a low-grade handicap now but seems to have plenty of weight for what he's achieved so far.
Nine races since his ninth and most recent score now. Well held in a selling handicap on return and would need to leave that well behind now.
Second in all three starts for previous handler Sam England but pulled up in two since for this yard. Big player if he bounces back but obviously a few doubts at present.
Ordinary Flat performer not made a great deal of an impression in three starts in novice company over hurdles thus far., Perhaps handicaps will help now but ground today unlikely to suit.
Unplaced maiden and looked beaten when a faller two out at Musselburgh latest. Two October efforts (fifth and sixth) give her place claims in this desperate contest.
Veteran barely run a bad race this year and gained a second score in 2019 when successful at Plumpton over 2m latest. 3lb rise not enough to be anything other than optimistic he can follow up in a race lacking any strength in depth.
Aging maiden but second (Stratford) and third (Uttoxeter) last twice give her among the best recent form in the race and the fact that the latest of them came on heavy can only be deemed a plus; respected.
First race under Rules (point-to-point in interim) for over three years when a tiring fourth at Ludlow over fences. Similar effort next at Hereford and now switches back to hurdles for first time since 2016.
Winning Flat performer but 0-11 over hurdles and last couple of efforts far from inspiring. Soft ground always seems a struggle so while she's unraced on heavy one must imagine she'll struggle.
Forecasts
Nothing Man (7/2), Missesgeejay (4/1), Flanagans Field (9/2), Simon The Great (6/1), Potters Away (6/1), Infiniti (9/1), Hume Lough (11/1), Baratineur (12/1), Global Thrill (25/1), Tally's Son (33/1)
In a very weak race indeed likable veteran FLANAGANS FIELD looks to have a fine chance to follow up his Plumpton success with just 3lb added by the handicapper. Missesgeejay has found a level of consistency also rating her the biggest danger ahead of nine-time winner Global Thrill.
- Flanagans Field
- Missesgeejay
- Global Thrill
