Lightly raced 11-year-old ran pretty well at Ludlow latest finishing a well held second of nine. As encouraging as that was he races from 9lb out of the handicap in today's warmer contest.

We don't see too much of PINCH OF GINGER these days but the lightly raced eight-year-old is only 1lb higher than he was when recording his heavy ground C&D success in 2018 and after an encouraging reappearance last month he rates the one to beat today. Already twice a winner this year; Goodgirlteresa has to be respected under the excellent Ben Jones. There is little in the back catalogue to recommend Storm Wizard but Venetia Williams is too good with chasers to write him off after just one start.
