Maire Banrigh has done nothing but impress in her two chase starts and her jumping has been on-point on both occasions. The question is not whether she is the best horse in the race - on the figures, she is - but whether 2m4f on soft ground might not stretch her stamina a bit too far today. ALSA MIX beat Chilli Filli fair and square at Bangor but is 5lb worse off, but this step up in trip will suit them both and she may be able to confirm the form. Soft ground would be no problem to her at all. Neither Really Super nor Sensulano can be discounted in what may be an informative event, with both coming into this off the back of good wins.
