Victorious four times from 12 starts over hurdles and finished a fair 29L sixth off a mark of 130 over an extended 2m4f at Plumpton (heavy) last time out. Leading contender dropping markedly in grade.
Hurdles winner in Ireland but has struggled in two starts for this yard including in a selling hurdle over 2m3f here on his penultimate start. Blinkers left off when beaten 60L in a handicap over C&D last time return.
Maiden hurdle winner over 2m at Worcester (good) in August and has placed twice from three subsequent starts. Worth a check in the market back over hurdles having unseated on chase debut at Hereford (2m, soft) last time out.
Returning from a break when pulled up in a 2m handicap hurdle at Plumpton early last month. Worth a check in the market on this occasion.
Beaten 16L when finishing fourth in a bumper over an extended 2m at Stratford (good) in July. Given a break since and interesting to see how he performs on hurdling debut.
Placed once from three starts in bumpers for Sam Thomas in 2017. Absent since finishing fifth of seven over an extended 2m1f at Fontwell (good-to-firm) in August of that year. Others make more appeal on hurdles and stable debut.
Only previous victory came in a selling handicap at York (1m, good-to-firm) in a first time visor in July last year. Well beaten off a mark of 94 at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in July on last hurdles start and has struggled on the Flat subsequently.
Signs of ability on Flat debut in 2017 but has struggled in two subsequent starts including when 40L sixth in a similar race to this over 2m3f on good ground here last month when debuting over hurdles folllowing over 18 months off the track.
14 race maiden was beaten 66L when last of 15 over an extended 2m2f at Exeter (soft) recently. Probably best watched with a tongue tie worn for the first time.
