Classy six-time turf winner has been Group placed this season and arrives here after a 6f Listed fourth here last time out showing aptitude for the surface. Lots of weight but classy enough to overcome it.
At the age of nine he's had a fine season and win at Newcastle last time out was his fourth of the campaign. Handicapper adds a further 3lb but still a player here.
Four-time C&D winner was a fast finishing ½L second over 6f at Chelmsford last time out; his best run for some time. Repeat of that here at his favourite track may be enough and has to rate a leading contender.
Uber-consistent three-year-old successful here again two starts back before a sound fourth at Wolverhampton. Handicapper may think he's on top again now but been prove wrong by this likable sort before.
Winless this term but his 1L third off today's mark over 6f at Kempton last month certainly suggested that may end before long and indeed his style of racing should be even better suited by 5f.
Four-time winner was well below par last time out at Chelmsford in a race where Gracious John finished second. Can do a great deal better than that but others ultimately preferred.
Six-time 5f winner finished third beaten just ½L over C&D latest in yet another excellent effort. Off the same mark he's a big player once again.
