Off time: 14:52 | Winning time: 6m 58.60s

Shamilan³⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: R Patrick⁽³⁾| T: T R George| OR: 117

9/2

Showed something to work on when sixth of 12 on chasing debut and had form in the mud over hurdles at this sort of trip last term so can improve with that experience under his belt.

Form: 0226-36

Savoy Court²⁵⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: Jonathon Bewley⁽³⁾| T: G Bewley| OR: 115

33/1

Won over hurdles for Warren Greatrex in early 2018 but form tailed off for him and no better since chasing for this yard in the spring. Plenty to prove at present.

Form: 51P3/4U-

Lord Springfield²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Danny McMenamin⁽⁵⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 115| D

10/1

Lightly raced and showed a bit on chasing debut at Ayr though disqualified from fourth when jockey weighed in light. Now steps up from 2m4f but should have more to come.

Form: 1/635-D

Shanty Alley³⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Kielan Woods| T: B I Case| OR: 114

4/1

Huntingdon good ground win over 2m last winter but hasn't proved chasing is his game in two attempts this season and stamina to prove as well so others make more appeal.

Form: 7185-5U

Dino Boy²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Jamie Bargary| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 110| BF

7/2

Landed a 2m4f point-to-point in the spring and has shown some form under Rules though readily left behind over 2m7f on heavy ground last time. Now goes chasing and may do better in this sphere.

Form: 2/F1-242

Cash To Ash^p,t¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford| OR: 107

11/4

Improved run when going from the front in first-time cheekpieces at this trip at Market Rasen last time when second. This is a better contest but with them retained here no surprise if he gives it a good go.

Form: 6/523-P2

Definite Wisdom⁶²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: C O'Farrell| T: R Dobbin| OR: 96

8/1

Hasn't shown much over hurdles but was placed in a point-to-point so likely this switch to fences will see him in a better light and with stable in better form this season could be of interest.

Form: 2/8647-8

Commanding Spirit^p1⁵⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-0| J: Alain Cawley| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 87| D

33/1

Never in the hunt when tailed off on chase debut on first run for this yard and plenty on from 7lb out of the weights. But cheekpieces now go on and has form in point-to-points in the past so could be open to improvement.

Form: 242/35-7

Non-Runners

Big Nasty⁴⁰

Weight: 11-12| Age: 6

T: M Keighley J: Sean Quinlan

Forecasts

Cash To Ash (11/4), Big Nasty (10/3), Dino Boy (7/2), Shanty Alley (4/1), Shamilan (9/2), Definite Wisdom (8/1), Lord Springfield (10/1), Savoy Court (33/1), Commanding Spirit (33/1)

BIG NASTY did enough on chase debut at Ayr and with this longer trip sure to suit he could be up to giving the weight away. Cash To Ash was better from the front last time and a similar effort should see him go well and Shamilan completes the short list.
