One of the more experienced types in this he's already a bumper and hurdles winner taking a 2m3f novice at Warwick in May. Far from discredited when beaten at odds-on at Aintree on his most recent outing, one of the leading hopes despite his absence.
An impressive winner on his hurdling debut having won a bumper on his initial effort in that sphere he comes here under a penalty. Looks an exciting prospect judged on his last performance especially as his yard has yet to fire this season.
Took eight attempts to get off the mark in Irish point-to-points and offered something to work on over hurdles at Warwick on his debut. May just have needed that race (travelled well) and may do better with his new yard.
Winning Irish point-to-pointer (at fifth attempt) who should have his Rules debut ignored as the saddle slipped prior to him being asked for an effort at Lingfield. His previous form suggests that he will need to show more here though.
Fair sort on the Flat winning for this yard at Pontefract in August over a staying trip (2m1f), continued to run well in that sphere after that. Thrown in at the deep end for his hurdles debut (race not run to suit either), this is more suitable.
Both of his two bumper outings have shown a little ability but they have also underlined the need for some time and greater distances before he will be seen at his best. Best watched for now whilst he gains some much needed experience.
Third in a point-to-point bumper in the spring he failed to inspire on his hurdling debut (pulled up) at Huntingdon last month. Comes from a fair jumping family but hard to fashion a case for him here.
Half-brother to three winners, one a winner over hurdles but not really expected to show much here given his modest Flat form for a couple of yards the most recent being Eric Alston. Ran poorly last time, cost just £800 in October.
Half-brother to useful chaser The Kings Writ; dam unraced half-sister to useful chaser Out The Black. Hurdles newcomer having cost £14,000 as a 3yo; hard to see him making much of an impact with his lack of experience.
Back from a fair absence having shown very little on the Flat when with David Griffiths, running for that yard on five occasions. Only raced at up to 1m1f so stamina is a doubt, hard to make any real case for her chance on hurdles debut.
