Comfortably won Killarney bumper on only start for Emmet Mullins and sold soon after to current connections for £24,000. No easy task conceding 7lb all round on British debut but has ability.

€38,000 Davidoff gelding who is related to a number of jumps winners in France. Hails from yard with good record in these events and bold show wouldn't surprise on racecourse bow.

Fame And Glory gelding who had three runs in Irish points, finishing second last time out in maiden contest. Bought subsequently to join new yard for €36,000. Stable in great form at present and could be dangerous on Rules debut.

Second of five in very modest C&D bumper in September. Not disgraced in both runs since but would be a surprise winner on evidence shown so far. May do better once going hurdling.

Home bred Distant Peak gelding out of a dam who was pulled up in maiden points. Hardly leaps off the page on pedigree and appears to face a stiff task on his racecourse bow.

€7,500 Well Chosen gelding whose dam is half-sister to useful performer Otago Trail. Yard ticking over steadily and has winners in this sphere and wouldn't have to be worldbeater to make an impression on his racecourse debut.

£30,000 Tobougg gelding, half-brother to seven-time jumps winner Cracking Find. Fourth on debut in Newcastle bumper in March then failed by just half a length to win at Sedgefield in May. Seasonal reappearance and looks a player if fit and well.

Presenting gelding who ran well for a long way when fifth on debut at Carlisle recently until getting tired from 2f out. Should have learned plenty and with yard back in form can make his presence felt.

Forecast

Global Fame (4/5), Raymond (7/1), Giovanni Change (15/2), Fantastikas (8/1), Inexorable (12/1), Manintheshadows (16/1), Small Present (16/1), Kings Own (33/1)

Verdict

With his yard enjoying a fine campaign it would not surprise to see GLOBAL FAME produce a big effort on his first run under Rules. He had some fair form in Irish points and can make the most of the 7lb he receives from previous winner Giovanni Change who won in good style at Killarney prior to being sold to join current connections. Small Present ran with promise on debut when fifth at Carlisle and is one to consider, along with Raymond, who may have improved for a summer on his back. Debutants Fantastikas and Manintheshadows are both worth noting for market interest
  1. Global Fame
  2. Small Present
  3. Giovanni Change
