Prevailed on his debut in a bumper at Huntingdon (2m) in December 2018 where he kept on well in the closing stages, despite hanging to the right. Has since switched yards. Big player on his hurdles debut.
Finished ninth of 13 on his debut at Newbury in a bumper over the extended 2m trip where he was always at the rear end of the field. Stepping up in trip now on his opening run over hurdles where he will need to improve.
Has been well held on his two appearances over hurdles, including last time over this C&D when he was fourth of nine. He pulled hard in the early stages last time. Other more unexposed rivals are preferred here.
Came home fifth of nine over this C&D on his first start over hurdles last month. He kept on well in the closing stages of the race. More can be expected on his latest start here. One to consider.
Has been a long way down the field on his two starts to date. He was seventh of 13 at this course (2m) on his latest effort after going off at 80/1. Stepping up in trip now which may help. Others appeal more though.
Showed some promise on his debut over hurdles when he was fourth of 14 at Fontwell (2m3f). Could only finish sixth of eight last time at Lingfield (2m3½f) in a class 3 contest. Worth consideration in this contest.
Has struggled on his two outings over hurdles to date. His latest attempt came at Kempton (2m5f) where he was ninth of 10 runners after going off at 100/1. Will need to produce more this time around.
Yet to shine in four racecourse appearances. Has been a long way off the winner in her two hurdles outings. She made her debut over fences last time at Wetherby (1m7f) where she fell five out. Back over hurdles but she is hard to make a case for.
Was successful in a bumper at Huntingdon (2m) on the third start of her career. Has been unable to add to her tally since, including in three runs over hurdles. Was seventh of nine on her latest appearance at Huntingdon (2m). Needs to produce more.
A point-to-point winner but she has struggled in four starts under Rules. She has failed to finish in her last two outings, with her latest run coming at Wincanton (2m5½f) where she was pulled up. Very difficult to fancy.
Forecasts
Bean In Trouble (5/6), Certainly Red (3/1), Laurie Come On (11/2), Oscarsman (11/1), Call Off The Dogs (20/1), Moromac (20/1), Sparkling Dawn (25/1), Vital Sign (33/1), Shaw's Dilemma (66/1), Whatcolourishe (100/1)
BEAN IN TROUBLE got off the mark at the first time of asking in a bumper. He has now moved to a leading yard and he can follow up here on his first look at hurdles on the track. Laurie Come On should be able to build upon his fifth place finish over this C&D last time on his second start over hurdles, while take Oscarsman to fill the placings as he drops down in class from his latest effort at Lingfield where he was a little disappointing.
- Bean In Trouble
- Laurie Come On
- Oscarsman
