Ladbrokes John Francome Novices' Chase (Grade 2)

Danny Whizzbang is a very interesting chasing newcomer and the fact that he starts in a Grade 2 should be taken seriously. Clearly though, there is guesswork where his chance is concerned. We know more about Ardlethen, who failed to find much from the last when apparently holding every chance at Wetherby. He will need improvement, and both are therefore taken on with RESERVE TANK. Colin Tizzard's runner is a proven Grade 1 winner and has scope for more over this longer trip.
