Monty's Awardh61
Age: 7|  Weight: 12-0| J: R T Dunne| T: C E Longsdon| OR:  122
Back to form when second at Worcester in September, and matched that form when 3¼L third of 13 to Luckofthedraw in a 2m5½f handicap chase at Market Rasen last time. Place claims with conditions no issue.
Forgot To Askt23
Age: 7|  Weight: 12-0| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR:  122
All three wins have been on good ground, so conditions look fine. Winner at Ffos Las (2m3½f, good; 5-2) in May but well held both recent starts over longer trips; including unseat at Exeter last time. More demanded from current mark.
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Nico de Boinville| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR:  120
2-2 over fences after wins at Newton Abbot (3m2f, good) and Southwell (3m, soft) since August. Back from short break and up 6lb; rates a key player on form.
Don Lami550
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: David Noonan| T: A J Honeyball| OR:  120| BF
Promising novice hurdler in spring of 2018, no concerns over stamina but possibly going to need this on return from 550-day absence for first start over larger obstacles.
Dentley De Meeb136
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Chester Williams| T: Nick Williams| OR:  120| C
0-9 over fences but rarely runs a bad race; mark is sliding and wouldn't require a major improvement in first-time blinkers to get in the mix.
Monkey Puzzle43
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-11| J: L P Aspell| T: O Sherwood| OR:  119| BF
Maiden hurdle winner at Southwell in May and has shaped well enough in handicaps since; should be on a fair mark if taking to fences and yard continues to be in good form.
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: C Brace| T: F O'Brien| OR:  110
Soft-ground Uttoxeter bumper winner in 2016, placed four times in eight starts over hurdles thereafter. 561 days since he was last spotted, goes chasing now and commands a check in betting with yard enjoying a fine winter so far.
Halloween Harryt1233
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: R Johnson| T: P J Hobbs| OR:  109
A point-to-point winner who was unsuccessful in five attempts over hurdles since switching to Rules. He was pulled-up on his last outing at Exeter (2m5½f) 233 days ago and will need to improve over fences to be in the mix.
Battle Of Ideasp,t11
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: H Cobden| T: C L Tizzard| OR:  109| BF
Mixed bag over fences, but got his head in front at Newton Abbot (2m5f, good; 10-1) in June and generally running well under positive tactics. Runner-up at Fontwell 11 days ago after a break and should give good account again.
Lex Talionisb,t14
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Bannister| T: C J Mann| OR:  108
Mostly consistent over fences (placed three times) but records stands at 0-8 now. Had a pipe opener over hurdles recently at Ludlow recently and potentially on a workable mark back in this sphere if producing best stuff.
Apple Mack24
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13| J: M G Nolan| T: R Mitford-Slade| OR:  107
Poor form over timber but much more like it when switched to fences in a Hereford novice handicap (2m5f, good; 8-1) this month and possibilities now going up in trip.
Innisfree Lad22
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: David Dennis| OR:  106| D
Best efforts to date, including sole win in 2017, have come with plenty give underfoot and was never a threat returning from 561 days off at Chepstow this month under today's rider.
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: K Burke| OR:  100
Sent off a 200-1 chance in a beginners' chase at Chepstow last month and faded tamely once things got serious. Much to prove on evidence to date.

Manofthemountain (3/1), Dentley De Mee (5/1), Battle Of Ideas (13/2), Apple Mack (7/1), Benechenko (8/1), Monkey Puzzle (9/1), Monty's Award (12/1), Don Lami (16/1), Halloween Harry (16/1), Innisfree Lad (20/1), Lex Talionis (20/1), Forgot To Ask (25/1), Putdecashonthedash (66/1)

Emma Lavelle's Manofthemountain is 2-2 over fences but he's only beaten six rivals in gaining his wins and should face a stiffer ask now off his latest 6lb rise, ensuring he is opposed. Lex Talionis could run a big race at a price if in the mood, while Apple Mack has possibilities for better raised in trip. Monty's Award is in good tune but preference is for BATTLE OF IDEAS, with Colin Tizzard's runner having shaped well at Fontwell (second) 11 days ago on return from a break. He's a good-ground winner and should go well in this.
