Ran up a hat-trick in early 2017, but has not added to that in 15 subsequent starts, despite running some very good races. Had wind surgery prior to his reappearance at Plumpton. May have needed that and not ruled out from this mark in new headgear.
All three wins have been over 2m5½f, the last two in chases at Market Rasen in the summer of 2018. Well treated here on that form and after a step back in the right direction at Hereford last time, he can't be ruled out. Acts on heavy.
Broke his duck at the eighth attempt when a wide margin winner at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good to soft) last time out in May. Up 10lb for that and in a better race here. Check market for confidence, as he has yet to do his best when fresh.
Won at both Exeter (2m1f, good) and Hereford (2m5½f, good) last month, the latter when 9lb lower. Handicapper appears to have has his measure since then, so needs to pull out more.
Triple winner over hurdles in 2017, when with Neil Mulholland. Has largely struggled since, and has changed hands since last seen in April. Well treated from this mark, even on his C&D run from January. Interesting on stable debut.
