Last seen finishing down the field at Ascot last month following a 4¼L defeat finishing 11th of 15 over C&D in August. Plenty to prove.

Last win came in a Doncaster handicap over a similar trip over 12 months ago. Below that winning mark but with good reason having failed to show anything in three recent starts since September.

Course winner that has also won over this trip. Well held in a number of starts last winter in Meydan before a mixed bag since returning to action last month. Worth a check in the market back at this track.

More consistent on AW than turf winning six of his 26 starts, two of which have come at this track. Well held on most recent start but could get back on track on return to this venue.

Most recent win came in a 1m handicap at Goodwood in September. Hit the frame on sole start over C&D in the same month and shouldn't be underestimated.

Solid and consistent performer winning five of her 12 starts over C&D, hitting the frame on a further four occasions. Possibly has more to offer and likely to go close in this contest.

Sole career win in 17 starts came at this venue over 5f in September last year. Better than last run at Kempton suggests and no surprise to see the Slade Power gelding bounce back to form here.

In a rich vein of form in 2018 and has take. that into this season, winning four times including ready 2L success at Brighton over 1m in August. Possibly needed the run back at Kempton last month and not to be taken lightly here.

Won for the second time in his career when landing a handicap over C&D at the end of last month off a 4lb lower mark. Makes more appeal than most.

Forecasts

Keyser Soze (2/1), Reeves (5/2), Alemaratalyoum (5/1), Silent Attack (10/1), Merhoob (10/1), Lucymai (12/1), De Vegas Kid (16/1), Muntadab (20/1), Jack's Point (20/1)

Verdict

C&D winner LUCYMAI is clearly better than her latest run at Lingfield suggests and can get back to winning ways in this contest. The six-year-old can land the spoils at the expense of the Stuart Williams-trained Alemaratalyoum, beaten 2L over C&D in September and the recent C&D winner Reeves for the Robert Cowell yard who can go well again off a 4lb higher mark. The Tony Carroll-trained De Vegas Kid could go well at a price.
  1. Lucymai
  2. Alemaratalyoum
  3. Reeves
