Useful novice who struggled in valuable event on final start of last but returned with a bang courtesy of Stratford success (2m, soft). Has 8lb penalty this time around but entitled to claims.
Twice a winner last season before failing to handle step in class towards the end of the term and made poor comeback at Bangor (2m3f) two weeks ago. Needs to bounce back to winning form.
Last win came back in November 2017 at Fontwell (2m3f) and last seen pulling up behind Grade 1 winner Roksana at Newbury in March 2018 (2m4f). Has a mammoth comeback to contend with so best watched.
Rattled up two wins over fences during the summer and wasn't beaten far on seasonal return at Southwell before pulling up at Kempton (3m) last time. Reverts back to hurdles and claims on Southwell form.
Dual winner on soft ground at Sedgefield last term and made inauspicious seasonal debut before registering promising third - beaten 8L - on latest start at Ayr ((2m4f). Ground is a plus and should be thereabouts.
Much improved handicapper during the summer - winning twice - and started the season with two second-placed efforts, including over 2m here last time. Off the same mark for this and commands respect.
Remains a maiden from three starts under rules but put up best performance last time out when close second in 2m Stratford novice hurdle. Not seen since March and may strip fitter for this. Worth a market check however.
Performed well at this track before. Broke blood vessels two starts ago but very poor jumping cost her any chance at Huntingdon (2m4f) last time out. Reverts back to hurdles needing a bounce back. Front runner.
Sole win came in Newton Abbott bumper during the summer. Respectable efforts since switching to hurdles but flattered with 17L third at Clonmel (2m) last time out. First start for new yard.
Made it back-to-back wins at Warwick (2m3f) and over C&D before narrowly failing to get the hat-trick with neck defeat at Taunton (2m3f) earlier this month. 2lb penalty for that but on an upward curve.
Remains a maiden after five starts under rules, including two second-place efforts, but took a step backwards when 36L ninth in 2m maiden hurdle here last time out. Makes handicap debut off light mark.
Oratorio mare who hasn't raced under rules since September 2016. Modest form in the point-to-point sphere and registered win in 2m4f Open contest at Knightwick in April. Looks a tough return back in this company.
Forecasts
Runasimi River (5/2), Sweet Adare (3/1), Liberty Bella (6/1), Legalized (8/1), Arian (11/1), The Kings Baby (12/1), Passing Dream (12/1), Illuminated Beauty (14/1), Josie Abbing (16/1), Carpool (33/1), Lady Of Lamanver (40/1), Tinctoria (150/1)
RUNASIMI RIVER has proven to be revelation over hurdles recently and was more than impressive over C&D two starts ago. She lost nothing in defeat last time at Taunton and while the penalty for that may be harsh, she could still have plenty of improvement left in her. Another progressive sort is Passing Dream, who hasn't been disgraced the last twice but has crept up the weights significantly without winning, while the likes of Legalized and Sweet Adare made satisfactory comeback efforts and could improve on them in what looks a hot contest.
- Runasimi River
- Passing Dream
- Sweet Adare
