Placed twice in maiden hurdles towards the end of last season but form has slightly petered off since. Possibly needed the run when sixth at Southwell (3m) in October but requires career-best.
Generally fared well in handicap company bar Uttoxeter blip two starts ago, but bettered that when 9L fourth in 2m Warwick hurdle last time. Handicapper is beginning to loosen is grip now so is considered.
Had been putting in very modest efforts but slightly turned a corner when only beaten 5L into fourth at Warwick (2m3f, soft) on latest start. Could do better if replicating that form.
Mixing it between the flat and jumps recently without any real effect. Finished towards the rear on last two starts on the flat when sent off the rank outsider. Tall order in front of him.
Best effort came when coming neck second at Wincanton (2m4, good to soft) on penultimate start but didn't seemingly take to the soft ground on seasonal reappearance at Exeter last time. May strip fitter but needs to prove effective on ground.
Last win in handicap company came back at Huntingdon in February and generally not disgraced since. Beaten 6L into eighth at Ludlow (2m5f) when last seen in May but has won fresh before.
On a long losing run but tends to run into the places, including when second here the last twice (2m5f & 2m). Remains on same mark for this and set to run another respectable race.
Showed very little in five starts to date and was tailed off here on latest appearance. Makes handicap debut off nice mark but needs to turn a corner quickly.
Made a fairly promising start to handicap company when placed in a couple of hurdles in the spring but not returned in the same form as such, including distant sixth of 11 at Huntingdon (2m) last time. Dropped 3lb for that.
Looks to be thriving in handicap company. Good reappearance at Plumpton two starts ago before ready 5L success at Fontwell (2m3f) last time. Up 7lb for that effort but could be progressive.
Last win came in December 2017 and blighted by injuries since. Disappointed since returning from injury and didn't show any spark of old form when 39L eighth at Uttoxeter earlier this month. Hard to fancy.
Has shown very little in all starts to date and flattered to deceive when fifth in Warwick maiden hurdle (2m3f) on latest start. Opening mark is fair but work to do.
Well beaten at large prices for this yard and failed to reap any rewards, including when tailed off at Warwick (2m) in May. Has had wind surgery but makes little appeal.
Yet to win over hurdles and not really failing to trouble the judge, including when fifth in weak looking maiden handicap hurdle at Chepstow (2m) last month. Hard to fancy on that evidence.
25 race maiden who was beaten 27L into seventh at Stratford on latest start. Finished down the field in all of most recent starts so faces a tough ask in this.
Well-beaten in three starts since switching to this yard, including when pulling up at Southwell (3m) last time. First-time tongue tie but others are readily preferred.

A competitive-enough looking contest, it may be worth taking a punt on VENTURA DRAGON, who looked in need of his first run back last time but before that had been running to a higher mark than his current in this sphere. The handicapper is giving him a chance now and may just be able to take it. Kenny George sets the form standard based on his win last time but the 7lb rise is off-putting, while the likes of Lester Kris and Remember The Man are also being given a chance by the handicapper and both look to be turning a corner in form.
- Ventura Dragon
- Kenny George
- Lester Kris
