Arrives seeking a hat-trick after wins at Fontwell in March and Plumpton on his reappearance (both 2m3½f). Up 5lb for the latter, handles plenty of cut, and is entitled to be considered again.
Scored here over hurdles (2m4½f, good to soft) last December, and followed up when 5lb higher at Market Rasen. Has lost form since, including in both chase starts, so looks one to watch at present.
2-11 over fences, both on soft at around 2m. Back on a handy mark. Steps up in trip, and dam won a point, so optimism he can see it out. Bit to prove after his reappearance, but not written off.
Has shown precious little prior to joining this trainer, for whom he has won 2-2. The first of those was here by an easy 15L (1m7½f, good to soft). The latter came in a soft ground Uttoxeter hurdle (2m). Longer trip should be no problem. Claims.
Shintori looks a contender once again, after bookending his summer break with wins, but he may struggle to give 12lb and a beating to BATTLEOFTHESOMME, who looks to be going places under the tutelage of Jamie Snowden, and can take this step up in trip in his stride. Glance Back and Champion Chase can battle for minor honours.
