Scored for the second time over hurdles on his penultimate start at Huntingdon (2m). Stepped up to Listed company last time where he was fifth of seven runners. Will need to concede weight all round here but is one to think about.

6/1
Prevailed at the first attempt over hurdles on his latest start at Huntingdon (2m) by 4½L. Had some smart bumper form last season. Will need to carry a penalty here but is one to consider as he looks to follow up.
Has hit the frame on both of his two appearances. His latest outing came at Chepstow (2m) earlier this month when he was third of 12. Set for his first run over hurdles here. Can't be discounted.

Yet to shine in both of his two starts. He came home at the rear of 13 runners on his debut at Plumpton (2m), while last time at Fakenham (2m4f), he was pulled up. Hard to make a case for on what he has shown so far.

Won on his debut at Lingfield (2m) in a bumper on the AW. Has been well beaten on his two starts over hurdles, including at Newbury (2m½f) when he was sixth of 12. Set for his first run since March. Has each-way claims.

Showed some promise when he was second of five at Fontwell (2m1½f) in a bumper after going off as the evens favourite. Set for his first taste of hurdles here. Likely to improve on what will be his second appearance.

8/1
Prevailed on his debut at Ffos Las (2m). Could only finish third of six at Fakenham (2m) last month in a maiden hurdle. Remains open to improvement so not one to ignore on his second run over obstacles.

Madiba Passion248
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King
13/2
A two-time point-to-point winner. Was third of eight over this C&D on his debut under Rules in a bumper. Came home last of eight at Newbury (2m½f) in a Listed contest on his latest run. Best to watch on his first outing over hurdles.

33/1
Made an impressive opening start to his career when he scored at Market Rasen (2m½f) back in June. Was unable to follow it up last time at Cheltenham (2m½f) as he was 10th of 15. Can't be discounted here.
Remains a maiden after three starts, however, he has shown some promise, including last time on his debut over hurdles when he was leading before blundering the last, eventually finishing second of 17 at Wincanton (1m7½f). One for the shortlist.

Made a promising start to his career when he was third of six at Aintree (2m1f) in a bumper. Has been disappointing in his two appearances this year. Needs to improve over hurdles. Others are preferred.

66/1
A bumper winner who was fancied on his Rules debut at Lingfield (2m) but came home last of 10 runners after going off as the 11/4 co-favourite. Set for his first run since December 2018. Best to watch on his return.

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: M Goldstein| T: M Madgwick| D

Broke his maiden at the fourth attempt in a bumper at Ascot (1m7½f). He stayed on well inside the closing stages. Set for his first appearances over hurdles. Leading contender on the basis of his last performance.

Forecasts

El Kaldoun (3/1), Namib Dancer (4/1), Book Of Invasions (6/1), Madiba Passion (13/2), Golden Taipan (15/2), High Change (8/1), Where's Tom (12/1), Raven Court (25/1), Coeur Serein (25/1), Mahler's Promise (33/1), Felix D'autry (33/1), Tribesmans Glory (66/1), Deewhy (200/1)

Verdict

WHERE'S TOM prevailed in a bumper at Ascot earlier this month and he can follow up here on his switch to hurdles as he will not have to carry a penalty for his maiden success on the track. Book Of Invasions got off to a winning start over hurdles at Huntingdon and can't be discounted as he looks to follow up, while Namib Dancer made an error at the last obstacle on his latest start which cost him the race. Expect him to be in contention once again on his second appearance over hurdles.
