Runner up on no less than three occasions from his five starts in bumper company. Faces a tough ask on hurdling debut.
Wide-margin defeats in two maiden hurdles last autumn and a 77L defeat in a weak 2m½f maiden on soft ground at Down Royal earlier this month doesn't spark any enthusiasm for the gelding.
Sholokhov gelding out of a Lecroix mare. Closely related to dual novice hurdle winner Maison De Ville successful between 2m3f and 2m4½f. Fair form in a couple point-to-point and enters calculations.
Four runs have been punctuated by long absences. Ran as well as could be expected when finishing third of nine beaten 32L in a Wexford maiden hurdle on heavy ground last month. Capable of a bold bid if fully recovered.
Three-race maiden is better than his last run at Navan suggests when pitched in against Andy Dufresne over 2m4f on soft to heavy ground earlier this month. Lively outsider.
Spanish Moon gelding out of an April Night mare. French import finished second of six in a bumper when last seen over 12 months ago. In the right hands to produce a bold effort on hurdling debut.
French bred gelding by Network out of a Subotica mare, third of four on debut at Naas in February before getting off the mark at Down Royal on return to action earlier this month. Holds leading claims.
Infrequent visits to the track will not be helping the Sans Frontieres gelding as he bids to progress in the game. Last of eight in a Wexford bumper last month on his first start for 12 months.
Lightly raced maiden not seen since finishing down the pack in a Listowel 1m6f contest in September 2018. Likely to be vulnerable on return to action.
Bolted up by 22L at Ballinrobe in September, and consistent rather than progressive since in a number of starts. Last seen in the Grade 1 Champion bumper at the Punchestown festival in May. Likely to be popular in the market on hurdling debut.
Shantou gelding not seen since winning a Fairyhouse 2m bumper on on soft to heavy ground in April 2018. In the right care to be ready for a bold bid on hurdling debut.
Westerner gelding has failed to progress from his encouraging debut in a Fairyhouse bumper in February. Well held on hurdling debut at Galway last month and others look more convincing.
Well beaten in a point-to-point contest, a bumper and most latterly over hurdles at Galway and earlier this month over 2m3f at Naas. Difficult to see where any improvement will come from.
Daughter of Black Sam Bellamy out of a Fly To The Stars mare. Closely related to Jubilympics winner of a bumper and a 2m5½f novice hurdle. Likely to come on for the run.
Forecasts
Easywork (11/8), Mt Leinster (2/1), Pat's Pick (6/1), Eagle Moon (10/1), Champagne Paddy (12/1), Chief Of Police (20/1), Big Debates (33/1), Resurrected Duke (40/1), Arakan Quest (66/1), High Viz (66/1), Autumn Berry (100/1), Samantha Sunshine (100/1), Midnight Lightning (100/1), Fuzzbuster (100/1)
A difficult and wide open maiden hurdle, where the Joseph O'Brien-trained CHAMPAGNE PADDY can take advantage of his recent run at Wexford last month to get off the mark over hurdles for connections at the third attempt. The Doyen gelding can hold off the attentions of the Mt Leinster for the trainer/jockey combination of Willie Mullins and Paul Townend as the Beat Hollow gelding makes his hurdling debut here. Eagle Moon for trainer Henry De Bromhead and the Gigginstown House Stud-owned Easywork are interesting recruits over timber.
