Second in a junior bumper last year that has worked out well before making a ready winning hurdles debut at Sedgefield (2m1f, soft) last month. Penalty offset by age concession and looks sure to make a bold bid here.
Midfield stable debut in a Chepstow maiden hurdle quite acceptable given he'd been off 1116 days going into it. Sure to take a step forward now and in good hands with this in-form trainer.
44-rated Flat maiden made little impression in hurdle starts at Taunton and Stratford last month and one to avoid until sent low-grade handicapping.
Well beaten but not devoid of some promise when seventh of 13 at Taunton last week although that effort plus his moderate point-to-point form gives him a lot to find.
Remote fourth of five when last seen at Stratford in the summer and although he fared slightly better there the time before he remains hard to fancy.
64-rated five-time Flat winner who stays well and acts on testing ground. Hurdles debut comes at a late juncture but one to note in the market.
Second in a Chepstow bumper before unseating when well held latest in a considerably warmer Cheltenham maiden hurdle last month. Yard won this with high class Al Dancer last year and this gelding also merits serious respect.
Unseated in two most recent points and again jumped poorly when pulled up on Rules debut at Worcester in June. First-time headgear but of no appeal.
Winner of a mares maiden for Jessica Harrington in August. Pulled up on stable bow at Hereford but Irish form competitive here so expecting much better today.

Forecasts
College Oak (11/10), Desque De L'Isle (5/2), Stolen Silver (3/1), Fiscal Space (8/1), Karannelle (10/1), Marengo (16/1), Flutiste (25/1), Finvarra (40/1), Lermoos Legend (50/1), Witchdoctor (100/1)
This looks a pretty decent opportunity for recent Sedgefield winner COLLEGE OAK to follow up with few of his rivals yet to show persuasive form over hurdles. One who likely will do better very soon is Nigel Twiston-Davies' four-year-old Stolen Silver; the yard do particularly well here. Also on the shortlist of dangers is Desque De L'Isle who ran well enough after 1116 days on the sidelines latest.
