In good form right now, winning a Wolverhampton 5f handicap last month before running May Remain to 1¾L at the start of the month over C&D. Reported to have run wide at the turn, shouldn't have that problem from the three stall.

Will have disappointed connections over the summer but the Dandy Man gelding does all his best work on this surface. Has hit the frame in three of his five starts over C&D but has hostile draw to overcome.

Three-time winner on turf but the daughter of Society Rock struggled in a number of starts on the AW when in the care of trainer Stan Moore in Britain. Best watched on debut at this venue.

13-race maiden for trainer Stan Moore, doing most of her racing on the AW in France. Nearer last than first in a 23-runner 5f contest at Navan earlier this month on stable debut. Hard to place any faith in.

Running well in defeat in a couple of starts since return to this venue last month over 6f/7f. Previous winner over C&D, likely to make her presence felt.

One from three starts over C&D. The daughter of Le Cadre Noir has been running with credit in a number of starts since August. Winner of this contest over C&D 12 months ago off a 4lb higher mark as the 5/1 co-favourite.

Genuine sort but without a win from 18 starts at this venue although the Rock Of Gibraltar gelding has hit the frame on no less than six occasions from eights runs over C&D. Likely to be in the mix again.

Verdict

The in form TY ROCK BRANDY can get back to winning ways following a gallant second of 14 runners when running wide at the turn earlier this month. The four-year-old can get a nice toe into the race from Ascot Dreamer before making her move to claim the prize. The solid and consistent Adrian McGuinness-trained Pillar can emerge as the biggest danger with C&D's winners Ken's Sam's and Polly Douglas looking next best.
